When is the Greek language exam in Cyprus in 2026?
It depends on your route. The University of Cyprus School of Modern Greek runs certification sittings roughly twice a year, and the Certificate of Attainment in Greek (Ελληνομάθεια) is held worldwide in May, with an additional October session inside Greece. The Cyprus Ministry of Education publishes its own calendar for the naturalisation examination. Dates move, so confirm with the awarding body before you plan.
Do I need A2 or B1 Greek in Cyprus?
As a rule, A2 for permanent residence and B1 for citizenship, and the naturalisation route also has a separate exam on the political and social realities of Cyprus. You describe a picture or hold a role-play out loud. It is an estimate against the published criteria, not an official mark.
When do Greek exam results come out?
Results calendars are set by the awarding body and vary by session and route, usually some weeks after the sitting. Check the official page for the exam you registered for. GreekBrain does not issue or forward results.
Is this enough on its own, without a teacher?
Honestly, this plus a teacher is the fastest route. A weekly lesson is about four hours a month of exposure and the exam wants many times that. GreekBrain is where the rest of the hours happen, in private, graded every time.
Is it for complete beginners?
You need the Greek alphabet before you start. If you do not have it yet, learn that first and come back. Everything above that, from surviving small talk to a full exam letter, is what the app is built for.
